Yielding to or go at? Holiness isn’t a road leading to Christ; it's found by journeying with Him. He declared, "I am the way," emphasizing Himself as the conduit to true holiness. Is our pursuit of God about achieving perfection or yielding to His grace?
Think about it. By embracing Christ as our holiness, we shift from self-reliance to reliance on Him. It's not about rules but about a surrendered heart, allowing His Spirit to transform us. As we walk with Him, He molds us into His likeness.
God’s Word tells us: "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know[a] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him (John 14:6).”
Fixing our gaze on Christ, we find the ultimate example of holiness. By abiding in Him, we’re led on the path of true holiness. It is a matter of yielding and not going at that makes all the difference. Our role is surrender, allowing His presence to shape us. We need to trust Christ to guide us into the fullness of holiness. The only way to do that is to learn how to yield.
We pray. “Heavenly Father, You are the way to true holiness. Help us to surrender to Your grace, knowing that perfection is found in You alone. We need to learn to yield. Lead us on the path of holiness as we abide in Your presence. In Jesus name, Amen!”
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34)
