Where do we land? Years ago, I managed a print shop where Joanne was the supervisor. Although I made the final hiring decisions, I usually followed her advice. One day, she couldn't choose between two candidates, so I suggested flipping a coin. She chose "heads," and without looking at the result, I told her to call Personnel with her decision. Sometimes, a little chance can help clarify choices!
Think about it. Indecision. We all deal with it daily; but, how about God? If He was indecisive, just think what might happen.
God’s Word: “…If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (Hebrews 12:1b-2).”
Indecision can lead to uncomfortable situations. Imagine if God were indecisive! Unlike us, He never loses heart when making decisions. We experience highs and lows, but God remains steady, always moving toward perfection. We need not fear life’s uncertainties with Him in control. God never flips a coin regarding our lives; He sees the end from the beginning and knows exactly where we’ll land.
We pray. “Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unwavering guidance in our lives. Help us trust in Your perfect wisdom during times of indecision. Grant us peace in all of the uncertainties in life, knowing You see the end from the beginning and we need never fear. In Jesus' name. Amen.”
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matt 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
