Waste deep?

Waste deep? One of the worst things about depression is that it can separate us from the one power capable of lifting us out of our despair, God.

Think about it. We wade often waste-deep in the problems of this life. When we stumble and fall face-first into them, what had been a burden can now become a curtain of separation. When you find yourself buried by depression, there is only one thing to do, remember the one who has made you for walking upright and not wallowing in despair.

God’s Word tells us: “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. (Psalm 42: 1-11).

God lifts up and will never cast us down. Meditate on Him day and night and you will see Him and experience Him. He will lift you up out of any sorrow when you put your hope in Him. Feeling downcast? Need some medication to perk you up? Try medicating on the greatness of God. His Word is a natural anti-depressant guaranteed to pull you through every time!

“I pray today in Jesus name that when we always remember that God and His eternal and perfect care for us is always preferable to just medications alone. Medicating our hurts is always better using God, not drugs.” Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
