Viva 'le Resistance?

Viva La Resistance? As Christians we ought to see ourselves like those resistance fighters who fought in WWII. When Jesus left this earth 2,000 years ago, he left His tiny church in perilous straits. It was outnumbered and in grave danger, even until this day.

Think about it. Jesus has instructed us to be brave and wait for His return when we would stand in glory beside Him on that glorious Resurrection Day when all the saints, those brave resistance fighters, would finally triumph over the devil and his evil army.

God’s Word tells us: “Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring” (2 Thessalonians 1:5).

It’s all in the timing, the impeccable and holy timing of our Lord! We wait until that day trusting in His timing and waiting for His return. The battle continues in earnest for now and we are indeed outnumbered and beleaguered. The foe is hunting for us and seeks our destruction. Come quickly Lord Jesus! Until then, VIVA LA RESISTANCE!

. “I pray today in Jesus name that even though the world has turned against us, even our own nation, we never give in or give up. We pray O Lord to help us resist the foe and never fail to fight. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
