Velcro connection?

Velcro connection? I am a generalist. My wife Holly is a detail person. While somethings may give us trouble, they don’t divide us. Simply, our differences act like Velcro–like fibers pointing in opposite directions that, when pushed together, form a tight bond.

Think about it. We tolerate the differences knowing that these are the very things that make a relationship interesting and long lasting; although, sometimes these little differences may bring conflict if left to themselves.

God’s Word tells us: “ For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function …” (Romans 12: 4a).

In this sense we do justice in both the kingdom of this world by defending ourselves against its wickedness and justice within the Kingdom of God. In the former we defend ourselves against injustice and punish those who do these things. This is the “Velcro connection.” By this means God used two swords, poised in opposite directions, to bind our hearts and spirits in one, well-oiled relationship with Him. Bless be the tie that binds!

“I pray today in Jesus name that we do justice in both the kingdom of this world by defending ourselves against its wickedness and justice within the Kingdom of God by standing for the truth in His Word. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
