Turning our thoughts over to Him?

Turning our thoughts over to Him? Living with discouragement slowly strangles hope. At first, it feels manageable, but over time it hardens like concrete, trapping our emotions. Sorrow gives way to regret, then anger, and finally bitterness. We build an emotional wall, protecting ourselves but also blocking the hope that could help us break free from despair.

Think about it. Can bitterness be avoided or overcome, or once it takes hold, is it impossible to break free from it?

God’s Word: “This verse reflects the idea of surrendering bitterness and trials to God, trusting He will transform them into something good and bring peace. (Matthew 5:9).”

Can discouragement be turned into something good? The important thing is that we can’t let it control us. instead using it to draw closer to God. Our past filled with sorrow becomes the foundation for a new life in Christ. If bitterness takes root in us, we should never despair—through prayer, we can transform bitterness into hope and receive God's blessings. Turn your thoughts over to Him today.

We pray. “Heavenly Father, help me transform my bitterness into hope. Turn my trials and sorrow into a foundation for growth in You. Through prayer, let me find Your blessings even in hardship. I surrender my heart and thoughts to You, trusting in Your grace and guidance. In Jesus name. Amen.”

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matt 6:34)
