Tuned up?

Tuned? Even though God created you and I for service, it is also true that He does not expect us to work without end. Just what is God’s will for us in our daily labor anyway? There is no doubt that God wants us to both do work and enjoy the labors of our work.

Think about it. We are here on this earth to be of service to our fellowman and not ourselves. And, submitting to hard work is the key to finding the humble path that leads to true Christian service. A shiftless Christian is not a beautiful sight to God.

God’s Word tells us: And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple (John 4:6).

Submitting to the plan, putting ourselves in a position to do not only the work we are given but also the service God has willed for us to do for others, is the key to understanding a life of true Christian submission. How hard to you WANT to work today? Allow God to tune your spirit every day. The tone of your work will never be out-of-tune.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
