Try laughing? Years ago, I hesitated to substitute for a younger Sunday school class. Teaching older kids was more my speed. Reluctantly, I agreed, feeling nervous facing a room of 7 and 8-year-olds. Reading Noah's Ark, I asked, "Did Noah fish while on the ark?" A boy said, "No, he had only two worms." His innocence eased my nerves.
Think about it. Are you stressed out about something in your life today? Try laughing. It may not only change your day, it may change your life?
God’s Word tells us: “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death (Proverbs 17:22).”
You can turn painful situations around through laughter. If you can find humor in anything, you can survive it. Instead of facing life grimly, try finding humor in tough situations. Laughter clears your mind, while stress clouds it. So, next time, opt for laughter over stress—it might just lighten your load. Try laughing as often as you can.
We pray. “Heavenly Father, Lord, when faced with challenges, grant us the ability to find laughter. Help us see the humor in difficult situations, knowing it can lighten our burdens and bring joy to our hearts. May laughter clear our minds, dispelling stress, and filling us with hope and strength. In Jesus name. Amen.”
