ht spots? When you and I find ourselves in a tight spot, our first reaction usually is – “How will I get through this without being harmed?” You and I can spend a whole lot of time worrying about “do I take that step” or “don’t I” in a situation like this.
Think about it. When surrounded by the enemy and that enemy is your fear, you need to remember that it won’t be easily overcome. God never said it would be. He does tell us though that our fears will always remain at bay as long as we deal with them, are willing to invest our emotions and sacrifice our time in defeating them, and never turn our backs on them.
God’s Word tells us: “So we continued the work with half the men holding spears, from the first light of dawn till the stars came out” (Nehemiah 4: 1-23).
It won’t be easy and it may hurt, but find comfort in this: A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. Sometimes we just need to mush and go.
“I pray today in Jesus name that when we are in the tight spots in life, those that so often put us in emotional stress, we turn to the only One who can relieve that stress now and forever.” Amen!”
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
