The way? Circumstances have a way of intervening. Often unpleasant, our first thought is often to blame the circumstances.
Think about it. When it comes to dealing with the circumstances of this life, we shouldn’t tolerate excuses from ourselves in order to blame others or the circumstances surrounding our lives. Why is that? Because when we blame circumstances, we are really just blaming God. He controls circumstances as He controls everything.
God’s Word tells us: “I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” (Psalm 16:8).
The Psalmist is saying that even though God doesn’t exempt us from circumstances like freak snowstorms, He assures us that no matter what trouble befalls us because of those circumstances, if our hope is in Him, we have nothing to fear. With Peale we can boldly say, when circumstances block us, the only option is to “Find a way or make one.”
“I pray today in Jesus name that when we find ourselves in trouble, for whatever reason, we do not seek to blame others or merely the circumstances of our plight.” Amen!
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
