The peace that awaits us?

The peace that awaits us? A "house" versus a "home" — a distinction we’ve deeply felt for years ever since we rented our first house, a lovely stone abode from the 1870s, but it held no memories. It wasn’t home. Now, Beech Springs, our sanctuary for nearly 40 years, resonates with warmth and comfort every day. It's not just a house; it's our cherished home, a place where we not only live, but dwell. It’s our home.

Think about it. As that “homey” feeling is a peaceful one; so God also wants us to “home-in” on the peace He offers through His love.

God’s Word tells us: "I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land." (Psalms 142:7).”

Our souls yearn for God, our true home. Psalm 143:6 echoes this longing: "My soul thirsts for you." Have you found solace in Him? Have you found that peace you have thirsted for all your life? Don’t delay. Perfect peace awaits in His embrace. Seek His love through prayer and the holy lifestyle God has in mind for you. Anything else lacks true fulfillment.

We pray: “Heavenly Father, our souls long for You, our true home. Our spirits thirst for Your solace and peace. Guide us to seek Your love through prayer and holy living. In Your embrace, we find perfect peace.   In Jesus name. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34)
