When trouble strikes, we dwell on the day. Forgetting about the grace and mercies of the past and the obvious opportunities of the same in the future, we choose to dwell in the hurt and problem of the moment.
Think about it. It would seem that this is a short-sighted approach to life since so much of it is catalogued in both past and future than the present, when so much a burden, could be easily bridged by simply taking into account the vast space of possibility that lies in the comfort of the past and the hope of the future.
God’s Word tells us: “Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great His his love toward us and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord.” (Psalm 117:1-2).
The Lord isn't just faithful some of the time; He is faithful all of the time. Believing in Christ and trusting in His goodness and grace, means directing our attention on Him all day, making time and the present nominal as He is the Lord of time: yesterday and tomorrow as well as today.
. “I pray today in Jesus name that we never stop reminding ourselves that God is faithful, ALL THE TIME. He is never far from us but always near in His blessings toward us. Praise His name. Amen!”
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
