Strong connections?

Strong connections? I grew up idolizing TV cowboys like Roy Rogers and the Cisco Kid, who always had a loyal sidekick. Even the loner heroes, like Hop-A-Long Cassidy, usually found someone to help. Today, our culture celebrates solitary heroes, but in real life, going it alone often leads to failure. Success thrives on relationships, especially family. Strong connections are key to achieving success in the many challenges of family life.

Think about it. Strong family relationships boost career success, emphasizing the importance of personal connections for achieving effectiveness in both life and work. Could family disconnection be the key to why our society hurts so badly right now?

God’s Word: “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers, they succeed (Proverbs 15:22).”

Thinking we have all the answers can lead to failure. It’s crucial to share plans, seek others’ input, and ultimately seek God’s guidance. Going it alone may seem appealing, but even the Lone Ranger had Tonto. Collaboration and wisdom from others can help avoid pitfalls and ensure success, while relying solely on ourselves often sets us up for failure. Find your partner today.

We pray: “Heavenly Father, guide me in humility to seek wisdom from others and trust Your direction. Help me value collaboration and seek Your counsel in all I do. Protect me from pride and lead me toward success through Your guidance. In Jesus' name. Amen.”

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matt 6:34)
