Speculation?

Speculation? Does God sometimes hit us with challenges He isn’t willing to share? I believe He does. Are there some things that He just, really doesn’t want us to speculate about?

Think about it. What is revealed in the Bible is for us; what is not revealed is not for us. Speculation is searching into what is not revealed.”

God’s Word tells us: “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law” (Deuteronomy 15:1).

God isn’t into speculation; He’s into what is and not what might be. “If I obey God’s commandments will He bless me with many blessings?” That’s speculation and God won’t answer that question with anything other than silence. He has revealed what He has revealed. The rest is only of concern to Him and not to us. “That’s for me to know and for you to find out?”

“Heavenly Father, God, help me trust you with my decisions and the future. Let me lean on You with all my heart instead of relying on my own imperfect understanding. Give me clear guidance in my life even when I don’t know the path I’m on. I ask for your help to direct my path.” In Jesus name. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
