Sinking ships?

Sinking ships? In a world of fleeting pursuits, the statement, "If you are living for this world, you are painting the decks of a sinking ship," rings true. As followers of Jesus Christ, we're called to prioritize eternal truths over transient pleasures. His teachings urge us to invest in spiritual riches rather than fleeting earthly gains.

Think about it. By aligning our lives with Jesus's example, we find refuge amidst life's storms and navigate uncertainty with unwavering faith.

God’s Word tells us: “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, (Matthew 6:19-21).”

In Jesus we find solace amidst life's trials, knowing that His love sustains us through every challenge. Resist the allure of earthly pursuits and anchor ourselves in the hope found in Him. For in following His path, we paint a different picture—one of lasting significance and eternal joy.

We pray. “Heavenly Father,  in life's trials, we find solace in Jesus, knowing His love sustains us. Grant us strength to resist earthly allure and anchor in His hope. Guide us on His path, painting a picture of lasting significance and eternal joy. In Jesus name. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34)
