Shifting it?

Shifting blame? Who is to blame for most of the problems in your life? If you’re like me you could probably make a list with more than just a couple of names on it pretty quick. Aren’t each of us entitled to pass the buck sometimes?

Think about it. Shifting blame for the bad things that happen in our lives is easy. It’s easy because blame comes naturally programmed into each of us at birth. It’s so easy we’ve even invented a variety of ways of doing it.

God’s Word tells us:but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. (James 1:14).

If we can’t blame the other guy then we have to blame the “system” and vice-versa. No-fault has actually become a way of living as evidenced by the fact that there’s insurance available for just about anything that could go wrong in our lives. But, you know, there’s one thing no insurance agent can insure us from; and that is our ourselves. I guess that’s one fault we’ll just have to deal with no matter what.

“I pray today in Jesus name that each of us recognize there’s one thing no insurance agent can insure us from; and that is our ourselves. I guess that’s one fault we’ll just have to deal with no matter what.” Amen!

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
