Semper Fi?

Semper Fi? Never giving up. It’s the Marine motto. Even when things are seemingly hopeless and the pain is unbearable, we need to be faithful. That means that no matter how hard it gets or how bad we feel, one thing we can count on; we have other Christians to rely on. Individually we may bear up––as a group we are unbeatable. Semper Fi—Always faithful.

Think about it. Like Marines, the brotherhood of the faithful, those who persevere no matter what, is a sustaining force in our lives.

God’s Word tells us: “Jesus turned and saw her. ‘Take heart, daughter,’ he said, ‘your faith has healed you.’ And the woman was healed at that moment.” (Matthew 9:18-26).

We can endure whatever comes our way because Christians, like Marines, can always count on one another to be there. Thank God that there is also Someone we can be sure is “always faithful” in our lives; someone we can count on to be there for us. Jesus, “Semper Fi” brother!

“Lord, thank You that You are with us always. Help me to never doubt Your faithfulness. I can see all throughout Scripture where You have always and will always be faithful to Your children. Forgive me for those times when I have not trusted You to be faithful. Semper-FI! In Jesus name. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
