Satan’s fib? In biblical narrative, "Adam's rib. Satan's fib. Women's lib." highlights deception's impact. Eve's creation from Adam's rib symbolizes unity. Satan's lies led her astray, doubting God's command and seeking equity with man. Tragically, she acted independently, disobeying. The lesson: trust in God's guidance and unity, avoiding deception's destructive path.
Think about it. Trusting in God's provision could have avoided a disastrous outcome.
God’s Word tells us: "But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ”(2 Corinthians 11:3).”
The phrase "Women's lib" carries weight, signifying the flawed pursuit of physical equality. Eve's actions warn against deception's consequences, stressing reliance on God. Instead of autonomy, unity and dependence on God are vital. By embracing partnership and obedience, we shield ourselves from deception's harm and walk in God's guidance.
We pray: “Heavenly Father, Guide us away from the flawed pursuit of physical equality, teaching us reliance on You. Help us embrace unity and dependence, shielding us from deception's harm, and walking in Your guidance. In Jesus name. Amen!”
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34)
