Read before using?

Read before using? Did you ever notice how hard it is to obey these words: “Directions: Please Read Before Using!” This is especially important when trying to understand the sometimes, difficult instructions that God gives us in his Word.

Think about it. One of the keys in understanding our relationship to God is in understanding that God wants us to obey Him not for His sake, but for ours. God loves us so much that He wants us to avoid the pitfalls and disappointments of this life.

God’s Word tells us: “It was because you, the Levites, did not bring it up the first time that the Lord our God broke out in anger against us. We did not inquire of him about how to do it in the prescribed way” (1 Chronicles 15: 11-15).

Obeying God first is always wise even when we‘re not able to discover the reasons until later. Trying to put your life together today? Try opening these set of instructions that came attached to it when you first received it. “Your Life. Please Read Before Using!” You’ll find them written in small print and likely not illustrated at all in a book called “The Bible.”

“I pray today in Jesus name that each of us be reminded today that there is a set of instructions available for our lives; it’s called he Bible. God asks us to kindly read it before using this life He has given us.” Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
