Life is full of storms. We can choose to face them with a smile and keep walking straight or we can become anxious and face the eventual train wreck that’s likely when we run away, trying to escape the storm.
Working hard to keep a straight path in life when under pressure, the strain of broken relationships and undone tasks, often requires more work than we bargained for. Perhaps walking a straight and trusting path through the many obstacles life may present requires a lot less in the way of skill and a whole lot more faith?
God’s Word promises “Perhaps the Lord will act on our behalf.” (1 Samuel 14:6a).
A straight and steady path doesn’t guarantee we won’t ever be in danger or be blocked from time to time. It does mean that God will continue to give our lives direction, purpose and focus when we face life’s trials with a smile and a steady walk. God will surely guide us around and through life’s troubles. It’s what He does best!
“I pray today in Jesus name that God will deliver you from your trials and temptations into a place where upon reflection you will see His guiding hand. Amen!”
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
