Only Christ?

Only Christ? God gives us His Son as the spiritual cure for all that might ail us. Christ, the consummate physician of soul and body. What a remarkable plan our God has for us. He revealed His love for us through Christ by offering us forgiveness of sins, life and salvation.

Think about it. As with serious physical illness, spiritual illness isn’t something that we should employ our own “home remedies” on. Living a good life and helping other people is no substitute for belief in Christ.

God’s Word tells us: “That is why I was angry with that generation; I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways" (Hebrews 3: 10).

There is always the danger of spiritual death even while we do good if we live lives consistently in the overpowering presences of sin. If we reject that Great Physician and try to do it on our own, a hardened heart is the only prognosis left to us. Sad, but true, many are headed down that path, each day a step away from God and one closer to death. See Him today before the illness of sin becomes the disease of death.

. “I pray today in Jesus name that we look only to Christ for our eternal welfare. There is none other and no other way to enter into the glory of heaven, unless it is in Christ. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
