Nasty redoes?

Nasty redos? Time is one of the most precious commodities that God gives us daily. The time to do things, however, is always limited. We need to balance the things we want to do with the things we need to do; and, that’s not always the easiest nor desired thing to do.

Think about it. Sometimes God’s plan calls for redoing things when ours calls for doing and moving on. No one likes having to start over, especially when other “to do’s” are jostled or displaced in the process.

God’s Word tells us: “Then the angel of the Lord told her, “Go back to your mistress and submit to her.” The angel added, “I will increase your descendants so much that they will be too numerous to count” (Genesis 16:7-10).

When our mistakes affect others, it makes it even more difficult. Yet, doing things over is part of God’s disciplinary plan for us. In His game plan there is no place for running away from our mistakes. Submitting to our problems, accepting God’s help and tackling the “redo’s” is the right thing. Putting some time away each day for this necessary discipline is the best policy by far.

“I pray today in Jesus name that when we are faced with those nasty redos in life, the times when we have to own the patience to do it over, may we have the willingness to ask God for the patience needed to do it right.” Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
