Mountains moving? Moved any mountains lately? The Bible tells us that all we need to be able to move the mountains in our lives is to believe. Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.”
Think about it. Perhaps you’re facing financial hardship; loneliness, sickness, or the loss of a loved one. Impossible mountains to move?
God’s Word tells us: “‘Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them’” (Mark 11:23).”
Mountain in our lives? All we need, is to believe He will move them. We keep moving forward and the mountains continue to recede into the distance. They will never bury us, and although we may never move them into the sea; there is someone who can and will, Jesus. It’s more than imagery, it’s reality; we just need to believe it.
“Lord, teach us that prayer is the bow, the promise is the arrow; faith is the hand that draws it, and sends it with the heart’s message to heaven. The bow without the arrow is of no use, and the arrow without the bow is of little worth, and both without the strength of the hand are to no purpose. In Jesus name, Amen!”
