Far better than amazing? The story of Apple stock is amazing. Even though it’s interesting to be amazed, wouldn’t it be far better to go beyond the amazement and try to figure out a way to buy the stock now in hopes it continues to increase in value?
Think about it. as we are amazed at what God has done for us; should we drop the amazement and investigate how we can turn our awe into serving Him?
God’s Word tells us: “People were overwhelmed with amazement. ‘He has done everything well,’ they said. ‘He even makes the deaf (to)hear, and the mute (to) speak.’” (Mark 7:37).”
God desires our praise; but praise and thanksgiving without works of faith to demonstrate our amazement and thanksgiving is empty. Every day you and I have the opportunity to witness firsthand how God delivers, heals, sustains and answers prayers; truly amazing. Now, when we are done being amazed, the time has come to put our amazement to work. Not doing so makes us spiritual beggars; doing so makes us spiritual Sons of the Living God.
“Lord Jesus, fill me with your Holy Spirit and inflame my heart with love and compassion. Make me attentive to the needs of others that I may show them kindness and care. Make me an instrument of your mercy and peace that I may help others find healing and wholeness in you. In Jesus name, Amen!”
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
