Looking up?

Looking up? A helping hand! How we’ve needed one in this life. It seems that almost every day we find ourselves in need of more strength, more courage, more endurance, more perseverance. And, as so often is the case, we turn around to find no one there to help us. Where do we turn?

Think about it. Christians need to rely on Christ for their strength and vital perseverance that they need to finish their Christian race.

God’s Word tells us: “Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored. The Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one” (2 Thessalonians 1:5).

When we focus on Christ, trusting only in him and his ability to pull us through no matter what, we can be confident that someday we will rest secure in his arms, able to continue our journey home. We need to grab the rope daily and pull ourselves up to be with Jesus. If we focus on Him, He will pull us to safety–daily, weekly, monthly, yearly–for life!

. “I pray today in Jesus name that when life becomes hard to copy with, so many obstacles in the way of finding peace, we reach up to heaven and grab onto the rope of Christ’s love. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
