Listen up?

Listen up? Wouldn’t it be great if God spoke to us like He did to Moses and Noah? If we could be but guided audibly, with an emphatic voice, like the prophets of old, it would be so much easier to know exactly what was on God’s mind every time we needed to know.

Think about it. It would be great if God spoke to us from a cloud. But, is there no easy way to know His will? Since He has chosen not to speak to us through burning bushes or glowing visions, how are we to know His will?

God’s Word tells us: “And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit” (John 20:22).

When Jesus breathed on His disciples, he declared, “Receive the Holy Spirit!” Since that time, every believer has, in that sense, an implanted, divine GPS system. It’s God’s Spirit speaking to us through our conscience and by faith to know God’s will. While it may not help our golf game; it sure can make a great difference in determining how we live our lives.

“I pray today in Jesus name that each of us would remember that God is always with us and He will respond to our wants and needs as He deems best it will help us spiritually.” Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
