Faith that grows? God has removed us from the darkness of this world, where we could and would not blossom as Christians, and planted us in the warmth and light of His Word. We are now the Children of Light, basking in the brilliant warmth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Think about it. We will blossom into fragrant reminders of God’s mercy and love. What is good, right and truthful will now be reflected from the branches of our faith. But blossoms fade and die unless they are preserved and put to use.
God’s Word tells us: “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord” (Ephesians 5: 8-14.)
Christians have a responsibility to spread the word; the word that the darkness will never produce fruit and that all men need to walk in the light. When the fruit of our faith is revealed to the world, it exposes the lies of Satan and is evidence that only God’s Word can reveal what is true, what is right and what is good!
. “I pray today in Jesus name that as believers planted in the light of the Word, we dedicate ourselves to sharing it with others whose faith has been stunted in this world’s darkness. Amen!”
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
