Kingdom building?

Kingdom building? The most important business that God gives us in this life, is understanding the dominion of His Word. When we make it our business to put His Word, His will above all other things, including parents and children, then we understand what it truly means to be “about our Father’s business.

Think about it. If we truly love Him, we will put nothing in front of Him, not even those we love, the dearest and the best.

God’s Word tells us: “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come” (John 1: 1-18:14).

As we go about “our Father’s business,” it’s good to be reminded that He’s always watchful, picking opportunities to test us and reign-in our self-importance. His business is our business; so we need the skills to do it well. It’s a dire business; the fate of mankind rests on it. We cannot be too skilled, or too tested to comply. There is a kingdom to be built and time is of the essence!

“Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of children, for their innocence, trusting natures. Create in us the the trusting hearts of the little ones that we may see your face reflected in our children daily. Forgive us when we allow life to blind us to their importance. In Jesus name we pray. Amen!

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
