House or home?

House and home? God has made your house a hospital, a place where souls can be strengthened, made physically and spiritually healthy. He has made it a school where hearts can be stirred by the Word. These are the roles given in sacred honor to parents, an estate that God holds in the highest honor above all other estates on earth.

Think about it. Our “Father’s business” is all about being the best parent we can possibly be. Our greatest job on this earth is transforming hearts and minds in Christ.

God’s Word tells us: “Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.” (Matthew 18:1-6).

We can do that best when we focus on ministering to our children first, above and beyond all things. A house is a home when the people in it are remodeled not just the building. When we do, we will transform plain ordinary houses into temple homes, true churches in which hearts and lives are changed forever.

“I pray today in Jesus name that we each of us will always be devoted to the home that dwells within the wall of our house. Bless us Lord that only nurture and growth in You is what we are all about. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
