His plans?

His plans? We ought never be surprised at the timing of Him who has perfect timing always.

Think about it. God’s plans are so perfect we seldom can see behind them. Don’t try.

God’s Word tells us: “LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure (Psalms 16:5-6).

Here’s a story: Roger Simms, an army veteran, hitchhiked home and was picked up by a man by the name of Hanover. As they conversed, Roger, a Christian, shared his faith, and the man received Christ. Five years later, Roger visited Hanover Enterprises in Chicago after finding the man’s business card. Directed to Mrs. Hanover, Roger recounted his encounter with her husband. Deeply moved, she revealed that he had died in a car crash after dropping Roger off. She had prayed for his salvation, and Roger's revelation restored her faith, showing God's plan in his salvation. Despite his passing, his decision had a profound impact on her, affirming God's faithfulness amidst tragedy. The encounter revealed the intricate workings of divine providence, demonstrating that even in unexpected circumstances, God's purpose unfolds perfectly.

We pray. “Heavenly Father, we thank you for revealing your plan through the unexpected. As we navigate life's tragedies, help us trust in your faithfulness. May your wisdom inspire us to pray fervently and believe in your perfect providence. In Jesus name. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34
