Hesitation?

Hesitation? Some things require no less than full commitment. When you’re standing at the precipice of decision, big or small the leap, it requires a commitment to persevere in order to take the plunge.

Think about it. Some things can't be done with less than full commitment. A chasm cannot be leaped in two small jumps and a dive cannot be made a little at a time. Sometimes you just have to do it.

God’s Word tells us: “. . . because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1:3-4).

The funny thing about leaping is that the longer you hesitate, the deeper the plunge or the broader the leap seems to grow. May God step up behind you today and encourage your plunge. Once done, it does get easier.

“I pray today in Jesus name that when we are tempted to hesitate as the precipice of temptation, we pause to ask the Father to guide us on the straight path, the path of commitment to the truth. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
