God's footsteps?

God’s footsteps? One of the hardest things for a Christian to do is to listen for God’s footsteps. Sometimes God tells us to wait, to put our decisions on hold, until He is ready to bless it. It is our responsibility to listen for God’s coming in order to fix the problem. In that waiting we develop the patience needed to deal with God’s perfect timing not matter what our timing is.

Think about it. There are two sides to every question, but it is also true that there are two sides to a sheet of flypaper, and it makes a big difference to the fly which side he chooses.

God’s Word: “The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all (Psalm 34:19).”

It is difficult to trust God when we think that we know the answer. God’s timing is perfect. We need to be  patience to wait for it, we take the risk of making choices that might not be the best for us. God even uses delays to work together for our good. When the storms of life push you to make decisions you are not sure of, take time to listen for God’s footsteps. He will come; he always comes.

We pray. “Heavenly Father, You are perfect in all your ways. You love your children and give them good gifts. And unlike us, You fulfill Your every promise without fail every moment of every day. Father, meet me where I am today. Deliver me through my trials and troubles In Jesus name. Amen.”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matt 6:34) This Passing Day
