God has us pegged?

God has us pegged? God is an expert in purpose. He knew you and I in our mothers’ wombs and determined before the beginning of time who and what we would be in this life. Having known this, He had us pegged as a man or a woman. He saw us with handicaps, or without. He purposed us to live in wealth, or in poverty. He decided if our lives would be long or short. He had us pegged, so to speak.

Think about it. When God pegs things they are always, perfectly right. Far be it from us to question that. We may feel uncomfortable because it is a purpose we don’t believe is right for us, but question it? Don’t think so.

God’s Word tells us: “A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord, our God, detests anyone who does this.” (Deuteronomy 22:5).

Your life and mine mean more than we will ever know simply because God’s purpose determines the meaning, not us. We ought to trust that and never say otherwise. Our wisdom can’t come close to His. It would be far wiser to embrace His than roll the dice with ours.

“Heavenly Father, Lord, give me wisdom, strength and provision to overcome the obstacles to the next steps on my life’s journey. Show me how You are leading me to learn and grow in this situation so that I can be more effective as well as bring you glory. Help me O Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
