Give it to God?

Taking anger to God? When our anger boils we need to get on our knees and ask God for the strength we meed to cope with the problems at hand. Anger passed, we can return to the situation, anger relieved, ready to confront the situation again.

Think about it. We all get angry; sometimes even at family and friends. Yet, that anger should never be channeled into violence or cursing.

God’s Word tells us: “The Apostle Paul wrote, “In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold” (Ephesians 4: 25-32).

We need to deal with our anger immediately and effectively. Foul language and violence only lead to bitterness and hurt. Keeping that anger bottled up leads to frustration and, yes, sin. Pray God that if you’re angry with someone today, take your anger to God first and channel it away from friends and family. They hurt easily; God, on the other hand, is made of tougher stuff.

. “I pray today in Jesus name that when our anger begins to burn and we can feel it welling up within, we turn to God asking Him to take our anger and pull it away from us. He can handle, we can’t. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
