Frauds

Frauds? On the outside we might appear to be the real things. However, if our actions, words and deeds don’t reflect the appearance, we’re frauds and we haven’t really read God’s instructions on “how to live a Godly life.”

Think about it. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. Anyone who is evil, has not seen God!” It’s like not reading the instructions. The Apostle John wrote about what it takes to be a real Christian, not a pretend one who looks like a Christian but doesn’t function like one.

God’s Word tells us: ““Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God” (3 John).

We “see God” through His Word and sacraments. When we see God, His reflection is on us and we shine like the sun bringing glory to Him. We need to read His “instructions” for Godly living in Christ if we want to build our lives into authentic, working, viable instruments of His grace. To do that, we need to read the directions.

“I pray today in Jesus name that as we pass through life we dedicate ourselves to glorifying our God in our obedience to His Word, making every effort to read it, know it. and put it into everyday practice.” Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
