Finding Jesus?

Finding Jesus? When life falls apart and our world comes crashing down around us, a funny thing can happen to your heart and mine. We can harbor hope or bitterness. Either way, we have no choice; one or the other filler will invade our heart.

Think about it. God keeps two flocks of sheep in His folds. The one He has kept upon this earth as His, but only for a short time. The other in His in heaven, for eternity.

God’s Word tells us: “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46 When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it” Matthew 13:45-46.

A surgeon once did open-heart surgery on a dying boy. Closing him up, he shook his head and sadly announced it was hopeless. “What did you see” his parents asked. “Nothing good.” He said. They looked puzzled and replied through their tears. “Then, you didn’t see Jesus?” The doctor broke down and remembered the words of the Psalm: The Lord is my Shepherd. In tears he turned and said. “I guess I did see something– a new sheepfold, an eternal one.”

“I pray today in Jesus name that when the burdens of life seem too heavy to bear and hope is crushed under the weight of sorrow, there is a quiet place God has prepared for us to take a load off. Eternally. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
