Fault-finding?

Fault finding? When we judge others based only on what we see for the moment, we may often find that our eyes have become sharpened to the faults of others and dulled to our own shortcomings.

Think about it. God doesn’t judge by looks, race or sex. He judges by the heart. Isn’t it remarkable that our Creator God, who exactly knows the appearance every person in creation, never takes looks into consideration at all? If anyone had the right to compare appearances, God would.

God’s Word tells us: “Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers..” (Psalm 1:1).

He made each one of them with a certain amount of divine pride and He knows exactly how He wanted each to turn out. Thanks-be to Him who created you and I that the only warts He sees are in a place no one else can look, the depths of our hearts. And since you and I aren’t privy to those, there is no cause for judgment.

“I pray today in Jesus name that we will refrain from making judgements about others without first consulting with the one who judges by the truth, His truth; and there is none other.” Amen!

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
