Faith to action?

Faith to action? The Apostle Paul wrote, “… join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, who has saved us and called us to a holy life–not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and had brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”

Think about it. When things look bad, look first to your faith and not to earthly things. When the storms of life threaten to drown us in a sea of trouble, look first to your faith. Don’t try to “fix” things any other way.

God’s Word tells us: “So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord…Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. ’" (2 Timothy 1: 8-12).

There is a simple equation for facing life and its troubles––first faith and then action. God uses faith to steer and direct us. We need to be in control of our faith when the storms hit. Don’t look to anything else before you look to your faith. They will always provide the best means for controlling the storms of life that aim to destroy except for your ability to use that faith.

. “I pray today in Jesus name that we look to our faith, strengthening it every day through the Word, worship and glorifying God. With this anchor may we then look to our purpose. God wants us to act. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
