Faith not fear?

Faith, not fear? God fashions each of us to be both human and divine for this purpose: On the one hand we are subject to human fears. On the other we are pressed to conform to divine principles.

Think about it. We are inwardly constructed in nerve and tissue, brain cell and soul, for faith and not for fear. God made us that way. To live by worry is to live against reality.

God’s Word tells us: “The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, “Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you” (1 Kings 19: 1-9).

A most dangerous time for any believer is when our fears become our counsel. That’s when we forget that God gives purpose and that His purpose is never finished. Are you feeling a bit spent and without purpose? Don’t let depression settle in because you are too tired to cope. Get the rest you need, exercise and make sure that you maintain a level of personal discipline in your life. Remember, God’s purpose for your life is not yet over, not as long as you have breath within you.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
