Don't get it?

Don’t get it? Some things in life just can’t be explained no matter how much we dig into the “how” or “why” or “what.” There just are times when you and I don’t get it. We’re inclined to say sometimes it’s just chance that things happen. We can’t figure it and let it go at that.

Think about it. It just seems that things that happen to us sometimes look accidental or impossible to explain. So, we react with a shrug and dismiss it that way. But to God nothing is ever at risk or subject to chance.

God’s Word tells us: “Then God said to him in the dream, “Yes, I know you did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept you from sinning against me” (Genesis 20:6).

Our problem is that we like life to be predictable, orderly and patterned. Too often it seems like it is scattered around us like so many pieces to a puzzle and we just don’t see the beautiful picture that puzzle is supposed to make. God, on the other hand, sees those scattered pieces AND the whole picture at the same time. We strive to push those pieces around to make sense of them, but that never works. In the end all that matters is this: “We don’t get it and He does.”

“I pray today in Jesus name that when we doubt what the eternal plan may be concerning the unknowns and unknowables in our lives, we turn to God and confess: “Thy will be done.?” Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
