Divine polish? The Bible tells us that God blesses without regard to who you are. God’s grace overflows upon all men, so at times it seems unfair that wicked people seem to prosper. Often the wicked are healthy, prosperous and famous. Can this be because of His blessings? God doesn’t discriminate when it comes to His grace.
Think about it. As unfair as that sounds, it is His will. Do the wicked deserve His grace? No. For that matter neither do you and I. Grace doesn’t depend on goodness at all.
God’s Word tells us: “He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. ” (Matthew 5:45).
God blessings fall on everyone. God blesses us, and we obey Him, we reflect the brilliant finish of His grace. That is a “shine” unlike any other. He polishes His grace upon the good. He is glorified as His grace is reflected in us. When God looks at us He sees His reflection in our obedience; not so the wicked.
“Heavenly Father, thank You for Your finishing grace, the polish that leaves a sheen on us whenever we obey Your Word and follow You on the path of obedience all our life. We give thanks that Your grace fall on all men; we are blessed it shines in us. In Jesus name. Amen!”
