Craftsmanship? I’ve always admired people with talent. There are some, however, who are more capable of using their’s than others. Perhaps it’s due to some with stronger wills, or perhaps, that rare few with the confidence to create something when no one else is interested in the idea. Whatever it is, there is no doubt that some “can” when others “won’t.”
Think about it. In such a way God separates Himself from all man-made creation as the Creator capable of fashioning out of nothing, something truly exquisite and beautiful.
God’s Word tells us: “ For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him” (Colossians 1: 16).
God created all things from a state of eternal perfection that dwells in Him. He started with virgin material, His Holy Word, and crafted from it something of great promise, you and I. It’s comforting to know He is in us and we in Him; the mark of a true Craftsman, our God.
“Heavenly Father, because You are not only with us, but are a part of us, we take great comfort knowing that we are truly Your creation, crafted with Your own loving hands from nothing but Your Holy Word.” In Jesus name we pray. Amen!
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
