Divine business?

Divine business? We open our door every day to a world of promise and blessing, divinely created for the dominion of man, and find a myriad of animals and green stuff blocking our view of the divine Creator who created it in the first place.

Think about it. Increasingly, the “rights of animals” to claim territory and maintain dominance over human presence has become not just a belief, it has become a practice. We have become a world obsessed with putting animals, trees, and even lichens and mosses on a pedestal that throws a great shadow over all creation.

God’s Word tells us: “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” (Genesis 1:26-31).

Our “business” is God’s business. The business of ruling over His creation IS our business, yours and mine. May each of us do it willingly, as faithful, conserving and loving stewards. God’s creation deserves our best efforts as He has its best interests in mind through us.

“I pray today in Jesus name that we make the business of ruling over, using and preserving the creation that God has made for us a top priority. But let us never forget we rule and it serves. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
