Devil in the driver's seat?

Devil in the driver’s seat? In life, we face a multitude of challenges and temptations. The saying, "Never give the devil a ride! He will always want to drive!" reminds us of the need for vigilance. The devil is cunning, seeking opportunities to lead us astray. Like a skilled driver, he navigates our weaknesses, steering us toward destruction.

Think about it. We must stay alert and sober-minded, rooted in God's Word. By immersing ourselves in Scripture and prayer, fortifying our hearts against his schemes.

God’s Word tells us: "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

We must also actively resist his advances, submitting to God and standing firm in our faith. When we refuse to give the devil control, we surrender to God's guidance. With Him as our navigator, we confidently journey through life, knowing He will lead us safely through every trial. Let's keep the devil out of the driver's seat, and let God take the wheel.

We pray. “Heavenly Father, grant us the wisdom to resist the devil's schemes. Keep us grounded in Your Word and fervent in prayer. Lead us safely through life's trials, with You as our navigator. May we trust Your direction wholeheartedly. In Jesus name. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34)
