Cutting edge theology?

Cutting edge theology? I recently sat in a new car filled with cutting-edge technology. The dashboard had no buttons or knobs, just a central digital display with small icons. Adjusting settings required navigating screens, which felt inconvenient. Despite its advanced design, I found traditional buttons and knobs more user-friendly and efficient.

Think about it. Some classic concepts never go out of style. In fact, there’s nothing better that can replace them. So it is with honesty.

God’s Word tells us: “Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid. Good people obtain favor from the LORD, but he condemns those who devise wicked schemes (Proverbs 12:1-2).”

Recognizing the cutting edge of true, old-fashioned honesty is crucial. Despite being seen as outdated, honesty remains irreplaceable and essential. It is truly sad to note the rarity of honesty today, but the Lord still upholds it as a timeless standard. This enduring truth is profoundly relevant and cutting-edge. Cutting edge theology!

We pray, “Heavenly Father, grant us the courage to embrace true, old-fashioned honesty in a world filled with deceit. Help us uphold Your timeless standard of truth, even when it seems outdated. Let our lives reflect unwavering honesty, and may we inspire others to seek and live by Your truth. In Jesus name. Amen.”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34)
