Change ahead?

Fresh starts? As Christians we often find ourselves in need of a fresh start when life becomes tedious, even burdensome. Carving out that start might call for some creative thinking, even what might seem drastic for the moment. We need to be able to be willing to see opportunities that might remain otherwise hidden.

Think about it. We need to be able to be willing to see opportunities that might remain otherwise hidden.

God’s Word tells us: “Then the angel of the Lord told her, “Go back to your mistress and submit to her.” The angel added, “I will increase your descendants so much that they will be too numerous to count” (Numbers 20:1).

Beginning again often is a product having the vision to see beyond the ordinary and into the extraordinary. Stepping back from our lives every now and then and reexamining what we have made of them is probably a very good idea. The Bible is full of stories of people and nations who, with a perspective on what was, were able to envision what could be. Sometimes we just need to be conditioned by the hardship to be able to appreciate a fresh start.

“I pray today in Jesus name that when we are faced with those nasty redos in life, the times when we have to own the patience to do it over, may we have the willingness to ask God for the patience needed to do it right.” Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34)
