Burdens?

Burdened? Sometimes are we guilty of trying to help God carry burdens only He can carry? It’s easy to do. We tell him, “You can carry the load, You can bear all of the burden.” Then we turn around and walk away with the problem in tow, all the while telling Him “thanks for the help, I think I have it under control.”

Think about it. We tell God that He can carry our burdens because we know He knows best. But, as soon as we’re done telling Him, we turn around and walk away with that same burden draped over our shoulders. We keep walking promising to “give God a turn,” but that turn just never seems convenient or practical.

God’s Word tells us: “The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down” (Psalm 145:14).

Sometimes it’s easier to keep going and facing problems on our own just as long as we let God know what we are doing. The fact is, not only are our efforts in vain, the more we sit on our hands thinking we have it under control, the harder it becomes to give God His turn.

“I pray today in Jesus name for every Christian carrying a burden that God can easily handle. Brothers and sisters, let God have your cares. These are burdens He never wanted you to carry.” Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
