Being seen?

Being seen? Our faith walk, especially those times in life when everything seems dark, is much like my searching for that elusive light switch in a dark room. Things get in our way, things we weren’t counting on. We trip, even fall. But, because we know God will be there to pick us up, we need to keep going, assured He will be there just waiting for us to reach out in trust.

Think about it. The Christian faith enables us, not because we can see, but with the certainty that we are seen; not that we know the answers, but that we are are known.

God’s Word tells us: “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1).

A life of faithfulness is a life lived in trust. Even though we can’t see the invisible safety nets God puts up to catch us, we need to believe they’re there. Faith trusts in the invisible, believes in the incredible, and grows with the impossible. God sees us, even when we can’t see Him.

“Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, we know that if we ask our You for anything in Your Name, He will answer our prayers and grant us all our requests, if we pray with faith. Help us grow in faith so that we will live as children of the Light, obeying your commands. In Jesus name. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
